John 3:16- 16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
What if it were that simple? What if belief did result in eternal life? That's what the verse says. Sometimes we make things so hard, and yet Jesus calls us here to believe in him. Believe that he is the Christ, come from God to save us. Believe.
In a world filled with so much confusion and so many answers, I remember John 3:16 and smile. God says, "believe", and that is what we seek to do. Who would have thought? We were looking for the right answer, and it was always there in front of us. Believe.
