3D HD TV 4 ME

You know, back when I was 7 and we got our Intelevision (a competitor with Atari back in the early 80's), I thought that I had seen everything. Now, three decades later, I consider how DVD's, Wii's, Blackberry's, and Ipods have revolutionized my world. By this point I'm thinking, no more gadgets... I've got it all! Guess what? It looks like we are just a few years away from everyone owning a 3D television (here's the story). Look, I'll be honest with you... if everyone buys a 3D TV in HD, I'm sure I'll get one (although I'm certain I'll wait until Walmart has them for $450). I really have no problem with cool stuff. I actually like cool stuff. I just want to say that before the craze hits, this won't make any of us any more happy. Actually, it may just contribute to moms and dads continuing to sit around and zone out while their kids become human zombies whose brains are rotting out (maybe a little over the top, but you get the point). I look forward to the day when I can watch TV with my kids and say, "I remember when Andy Griffith was in black and white.... and in 2 dimensions." They will sit in awe and say, "Like a book?!"- This assumes that my kids will know what a book is by this point. Anyway, technology is cool for sure, but it doesn't fulfill. Only God can do that, and he says that there is "nothing new under the sun." Those are his words, in a book.
